Vision is the “What”
If purpose is about “why,” vision is about “what.” I’ve always defined vision as “what it will look like when we get there.” Andy Stanley defines vision as “a mental picture of what could be…

I was just past my 34th birthday and a four-month-old Christ-follower. Friends had come in from out-of-town and we had decided to visit First Baptist Church of Atlanta. None of us had ever been there….
I’m an expert on arguments. I’ve got a lot of experience. My brother-in-law casts me with “Often wrong, but never in doubt,” and “My way or the highway.” I confess, I can be pretty committed…
I used to think marriage hinged on picking the right woman. Choose well and you’ll have it made. Then I grew up some and decided it was a 50-50 deal. If my wife and I…
I’m not going to go off on how busy we are. I’m not going to mention the study showing young people almost never unhook from smart phones and technology. I’m pretty sure I’m not the…
My dad might have failed in a lot of ways, but managing money wasn’t one of them. He knew exactly how much he had and what it was being used for. Every payday, he’d dole…
Talking about the different names of God is ‘old school’ because it’s Old Testament. Unless the preacher is pulling out a story to make a point, we don’t hear many pure theology sermons these days….at…
As a man, I’m not all that crazy about asking for help. No stopping to ask for directions…I’ll figure it out on my own. So what if I make a couple of wrong turns, go…
(A close friend sent me this. I didn’t live it or write it. I wish I had) A few years ago, a group of salesmen went to a regional sales convention in Chicago. They had…
Everybody I know has taken the Myers-Briggs personality test at one time or another. Most can remember their letters, like “ENTJ” or “ISTP”. The test was built in the 1920’s from the work of psychologist…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
