Radical Mentoring started in 2001 with one man who wanted to pour out what he’d learned about faith and life into the next generation. Last weekend, that man, Regi Campbell, went home to meet his…
I’ve never been much of a funeral guy . . . not that anyone is. The first one I remember was for my father when I was a sophomore in high school. I’ve attended plenty…
The other day, my wife and I counted eight people whose deaths we’ve been close to in the last few years. Close family members and friends. Some sudden and tragic…some long, drawn out, and excruciating….
Not long ago, I joined a host of people to pray for Lisa and Mark. Mark was in my Radical Mentoring group a few years back and Lisa is his wife. They have two young…
Maybe it’s my age or the season of life I’m in. All around me, people are dying. Young people are losing children to wrecks and pools and drug overdoses. Old people are losing their siblings…
A couple of my mentees were on a mission trip to an outer region of India to engage an unreached people group. The taxi they were riding in suddenly lurched, the tires screeched and they…
Have you ever heard the saying, “Lord willing and the creek don’t rise?” It sounds like a line out of a country song . . . a line we throw out casually when someone asks…
Nothing brings love into the conversation like pain and suffering. The other day, I called an old friend who lives in Texas, confined to a wheelchair. He immediately burst into tears, telling me how he…
When a young person passes from this life or when someone dies unexpectedly, the ‘why’ question starts percolating. The intensity of the question directly relates to the age and health of the person. My 93 year-old cousin…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
