Why I Write This Blog
I’m reading a book about vulnerability . . . Brené Brown’s Daring Greatly. She first did a TED talk about vulnerability. The talk went viral, with over ten million people watching it. Now it’s a…

Telling the truth is one of the lynchpins of character. There are 54 verses in the Bible about lying. Proverbs 12:22 is one of the best… The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people…
Our egos fuel us to contend with God. We get a little success and we start feeling pretty good about ourselves. We read our ‘press’ and believe it. Compliments, testimonials, thank you notes, recognition by…
“You hurt my feelings” is really hard for a man to say. It’s not manly to talk about your feelings or to whine about your sniffly wounded heart! Much more manly to pout. That’s what…
Ever since Michael Jordan signed his first shoe deal, I’ve been fascinated by this thing called ‘transference’. What on God’s green earth does a basketball player from Wilmington North Carolina have to do with the…
So it’s the day after Father’s Day. You gave him a call, a dozen golf balls, or maybe lunch out with the family. Now fire him. That’s right…fire him! If you’re an adult, you’re out…
Fathers can be mentors, but mentors aren’t necessarily fathers. Mentors choose to mentor, but once a man becomes a father, he is always the father. I believe that’s why God chose the ‘father – son’…
Maybe the most frequent question coming our way is about mentoring young guys…like teenagers, college kids and young singles. There’s even the question of adding ‘mentor’ to the ‘father’ role with our own kids. How…
We are always leading. While a lot of what we do seems benign, there’s a motive behind everything we do. And people are always watching. Almost nothing we do is in complete secret. The question…
For a while, the ‘next new thing’ was called the ‘rational method’ of decision-making. All the variables were quantified and processed to yield the path leading to the highest probability of success and the lowest…
Trey Brush exists to glorify God by coaching, serving, and encouraging others to live up to their leadership potential, in life, and as Jesus-followers.
As Radical Mentoring’s Church Relationships Manager, Trey is on the frontlines, interacting with the hundreds of churches exploring small group mentoring, and guiding those in the process of launching.
Originally from the Atlanta area, Trey was raised in the shadow of Stone Mountain. Before joining Radical Mentoring in 2017, Trey was the Events Manager for Connect Ministries and a part of the Leadercast team at Giant Impact. He is passionate about the local church, specifically about the impact churches can have on the local community when their men are fully engaged.

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
