The Voice of Dad
Ask guys about the first thing they remember, and there he’ll be. Somewhere in the picture is their dad. In my first memory, I’m standing in front of the mirror wearing my brand-new white short-sleeved…

Fathers can be mentors, but mentors aren’t necessarily fathers. Mentors choose to mentor, but once a man becomes a father, he is always a father. I believe that’s why God chose the father-son paradigm to…
Today’s post comes from Mark Butler. Mark was in Regi Campbell’s mentoring group in 2010, has served on the Radical Mentoring Board of Directors, and recently graduated his 2nd mentoring group. He is President of…
Have you ever watched as a young girl is ‘made up’ by her mom, being introduced to makeup, rouge, eyeliner, and lipstick while still an innocent little girl? Then she’s told how beautiful she is,…
Today’s post is from Jeff Henderson who leads Gwinnett Church in North Atlanta. Jeff and his good friend David Salyers have seen a need and met it with outstanding results. If you’ll ever have a…
If you missed Part 1 of Parentectomy – Cutting Yourself Loose on Thursday, you can view it here. I’d always thought of the parentectomy as the child ‘cutting the cord’ from the parent. Until recently,…
Ever heard of a parentectomy? I’m sure you can guess what it means . . . the removal of a parent(s) from their kids. According to MecidineNet, the term was coined by Dr. M. Murray…

So, there’s the dad who comes home from work and is greeted by two whiny kids. “Daddy, I need this orange for my school project and Danny won’t let me have it!” Dad looks at…
“This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
