Watch one, do one, teach one
This little trilogy has been around forever, but that doesn’t make it any less powerful. Some people put it in the box of “experiential education”. It’s how doctors learn to do procedures. I just watched…

Not too long ago, my daughter-in-law taught me something big. She said, “If you’re rehearsing a conversation in your head, there’s a conversation you need to have in real time.” I wish I had said…
People tell me I’m one of the most intentional people they know. I’ve given away a hundred copies of a book with a light switch on the cover asking “Is what you’re about to do…
Time and again, when I make myself stop, get down on my knees and pray, really talk to God and listen for His voice, I get direction. I get words of affirmation (which are ‘money’…
I keep finding myself wrapped around the axle, bound up in the tension between getting stuff done and a peaceful life. In a way it doesn’t matter what I’m working on, the task becomes the…
I’ve had a life purpose statement for almost 28 years. It’s morphed a few times and is about to morph again, but it’s been there since I heard Ron Blue ask this question: If…
I’ve been convicted to do more for ‘the least of these’. I keep waiting for an investment to come through so I can take on more than just our four Compassion kids. The other day,…
Maybe the most amazing thing about my life since I surrendered to Christ is how so many of the things I wanted have come my way. But in almost every case, it’s been a process….
In mentoring younger men, I find myself talking about ‘surrender’ a lot. The word comes from “Old French” and dates back to the 1400’s. It first meant “to give (something) over” or “give back”. A…
A couple of years ago, I met Jan Smith, Justin Bieber’s mentor and vocal coach. Jan said something that’s riveted to my brain. She said “Music gets access to your soul without your permission”. I…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
