Doing Good Things for God
‘Back in the day’, we wrapped up the mentoring year by “guilt-ing” men into signing up to serve. The thought was, “you’ve been trained. Developed. ‘Discipled’ if you will. Now it’s your turn. Pick a…

Organizations of all types have flocked to part time employees. As a manager, they offer flexibility and lower cost, in part because they don’t typically get benefits. It works well for the part time employee…
Look behind almost anything ‘ungodly’ and you’ll find pride. Pride is the opposite of humility. It’s the enemy of vulnerability. Pride says “I’ve got this”. And pride is what sent Satan to hell. What? Yep….
Don’t reply when you’re angry Don’t decide when you’re sad. The first time my sweet wife flew on a small plane, she was scared to death. She was NOT going! Period. Her fear made the…
Mentoring young husbands and fathers gives me the chance to hear lots of people’s stories. I love guys in their early 30’s. They’re young and energetic, yet they’ve begun to know what they don’t know….
Last week, I had an initial consultation with the Emory Lung Transplantation Center. They told me I needed to be sicker to get a lung transplant. Go figure. But to access my overall health and…
Ever have something you want to say to someone but they just can’t hear you. Or you just can’t seem to get the words right? It’s a really “old-school’ idea but writing a personal, handwritten…
I just lost a good friend. As they say, “He went on to be with the Lord.” Or did he? Ken had been around church forever. When I got to know him, he and his…
I don’t know anyone who is totally satisfied with their church. People who go to a large church want the warmth and connection of a smaller one. Others are trapped in smaller churches and hungry…
Almost everyone, especially mentors and leaders, eventually has to get up in front of people and give some sort of speech or talk. It can be as simple as doing the announcements or as complex…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
