The Reverse Ripple Effect and Moments of Truth
I recently visited a website that talked about the ‘ripple effect’. The metaphor’s been around a long time in evangelical circles. The idea that in a ‘moment of truth’. . . a critical ‘turning point’…

Everything in your life is going to hell in a hand basket. House problems, marriage problems, business problems, kid problems, mother-in-law problems, money problems, boss problems. “Maybe God is testing your faith,” says your friend….
Jesus told the story of a master who decided to throw a party. A banquet. He sent invitations to tons of people, but as the ‘regrets’ started to come in, he got mad. He saw…
I’m a huge David Crowder fan. His newest release is called Neon Steeple . Here’s how it begins . . . “Well I didn’t come here of my own accord . . . and I…
It’s a travesty that over 12 million people in the U.S. had their identities stolen last year. Somebody pretends they’re somebody they’re not and over $24 billion gets confused in the process. But there’s a…
There’s not much talk about holiness these days. We make everything relative. Movies get rated “G”, “PG”, “PG 13”, “R”, “NR” and “X”, but none of this even touches on holiness. There aren’t degrees of…
Every time I go to church or listen to a preacher offer the plan of salvation, I think “Does everyone get the bigger picture here? Why do we even need a savior from our sins?”…
What do Acts 7:33, Exodus 3:5 and Joshua 5:15 have in common? In each, the Lord says … “Take off your shoes. The place where you’re standing is holy ground!” Taking off your shoes is…
I run into two kinds of Jesus-followers. The ‘good guys’ who grew up in church, mostly did the right thing and ended up marrying the homecoming queen. The second kind ‘wandered off the farm’ and screwed…
On Veterans Day and Memorial Day, the conversation turns to those who’ve served and died for our country. My brother is one of those. He volunteered to join the Army, willingly went to Vietnam at…

As Radical Mentoring’s Church Relationships Manager, Trey is on the frontlines, interacting with the hundreds of churches exploring small group mentoring, and guiding those in the process of launching.
Originally from the Atlanta area, Trey was raised in the shadow of Stone Mountain. Before joining Radical Mentoring in 2017, Trey was the Events Manager for Connect Ministries and a part of the Leadercast team at Giant Impact. He is passionate about the local church, specifically about the impact churches can have on the local community when their men are fully engaged.

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
