Where Are You…Really?

We’ll spend eternity learning the ‘why’ behind stuff here on earth. Unlimited time with an all-knowing God, curious people like me would wear Him out, if He could be worn out….which He can’t. Like so…
Expectations are the anathema of marriage. Men (and women) come into marriage expecting perfection which, simply stated, is for the other person to do and say exactly what we want them to, when we want them to. Whether we…
When someone sent me this video, I lit up. It totally shows how we (men) get hung up with ‘content’ and drive right by ‘feelings’. I showed it to the guys in my mentoring group…
“You hurt my feelings” is really hard for a man to say. It’s not manly to talk about your feelings or to whine about your sniffly wounded heart! Much more manly to pout. That’s what…
They are personal problems, revealed in the ‘white-hot heat’ of marriage. If you take away the veil of ‘marriage problems’ and look deeper, you’ll see ‘action’-‘response’ at work, over and over. One person says or…
I’m an expert on arguments. I’ve got a lot of experience. My brother-in-law casts me with “Often wrong, but never in doubt,” and “My way or the highway.” I confess, I can be pretty committed…
I used to think marriage hinged on picking the right woman. Choose well and you’ll have it made. Then I grew up some and decided it was a 50-50 deal. If my wife and I…
Marriage is easy when you’re feeling the love. But when you aren’t, marriage feels like a cage: “I’m trapped in here with this woman I don’t love and who doesn’t love me. I can’t get…
Maybe the most amazing thing about my life since I surrendered to Christ is how so many of the things I wanted have come my way. But in almost every case, it’s been a process….

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
