To have a friend you have to….what?!?
I’ve heard this saying all my life and now I find it’s not true. How can it be? ‘To have a friend you have to be one’ is right up there with ‘God helps those…

On Monday, I laid out a five-step treatment plan for FOMO….the fear of missing out. I said we’re all running around mindlessly seeking “more”, “more”, “more”. If one nice car is good, two is better….
So, how do I get rid of FOMO? (the fear of missing out) How do I rid my kids of it, since they’re the biggest sufferers today and are going to be the most seriously…
Once in a while, I’ll go shopping with my wife. Both she and I know we shop best together when there’s a mission to accomplish. I can focus on “let’s find a pair of red,…
Maybe the kingdom of God is like a club. I don’t know much about clubs or the club scene. I’ve only been to a couple. There’s always a line and a guy at the door…
One of the first topics I take on with my mentees is how they feel about themselves. Most guys feel inadequate. I battled with this until I was 33. I still have days of doubt….
You only get one chance to start. True or false? I’ll be an economist for a minute and argue both sides. Situations where it’s true… – the first 30 days you’re married – your first…
Here’s the ‘law’ attributed to Northcote Parkinson way back in 1957: Work expands to fill the available time. Nobody wants to admit this and it’s not in the Bible. But I believe it’s mostly true….
In my effort to pass along everything I share with my mentees, I have to pass along the “good”, “fast” or “cheap” test. One of my first mentors, Pat MacMillan taught me this almost 30…
It’s not even funny how unprepared I was to be a dad. There should be a law. My son arrived and I cried. My daughter was born and I cried again. I cried at their…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
