A Mentoring Conversation on Sexual Integrity
“This is about creating a safe place in your group. The degree to which guys feel safe about sharing is the degree to which they’re going to share.”
Research shows that sexual integrity and pornography are major issues facing men today. If you’re leading a mentoring group, these issues will come up if your mentees are vulnerable. Which only happens when you’re vulnerable. But how do you address these issues in a healthy way? What if you, as the mentor, are struggling yourself? How do you know when it’s time to refer a mentee to a specialist?
All tough questions. As mentors, we always want you to feel equipped to maximize the time you have with your guys. So we brought in an expert. Michael Leahy is the founder and CEO of BraveHearts, a mentoring-centric ministry helping men find freedom from habitual sexual sin.
