Obedience is Faith Exercised
There’s a word nobody uses much anymore. In a world of freedom, positive reinforcement and behavior modification, this word seems old school and out of touch. The word is obedience. Andrew Murray wrote a slew…

My church just had its annual Man Night. Quite a production with campfires, bacon snacks, brownies and milk, film clips . . . you know, real guy stuff. At the end of the main talk,…
As someone who lives and breathes mentoring, I always light up when I find a Scripture about disciple-making. One time, I was reading through the book of Matthew and as I neared the end, I knew…
Who am I? Identity was Dictionary.com’s 2015 Word of the Year. Millions are ordering DNA profiles on themselves. What’s my race? My nationality of origin? Why do we care so much about identity? Because we…
Here’s a principle for you . . . rules are decisions made in advance. I mean think about it, when the sign says “No Parking,” someone made a decision for me in advance of my…
Earlier this week . . . September 19th . . . was the anniversary of the night I walked out in the backyard of my house and cried out to God for the first time in…
We’ve all heard the old saying “Perception is reality.” And it’s true . . . to a point. We act on what we perceive to be real and true. That’s functional reality but often, it’s…
In my last post, I wrote about people who brought immature pictures of God into adult life and then abandoned faith altogether because their ‘god’ didn’t live up to his title. In the last few…
Andy Stanley has a way of asking questions that bring amazing clarity to complex issues. In his sermon series “Who Needs God,” he talks about a number of common misperceptions about God and the ‘descriptors’…
I remember my daddy saying, “I’m a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none.” I took that as ‘gospel’ and have said it for years, especially after failing to complete a home repair project and having to…

Regi Campbell was an entrepreneur, author, and mentor. He was involved in founding 15 companies and served as CEO four times. He wrote four books: About My Father’s Business, Mentor Like Jesus, What Radical Husbands Do, and Radical Wisdom.
But Regi’s passion and calling was mentoring younger men to become all-in Jesus-followers. Through his 19 mentoring groups, he personally invested in 155 men and indirectly, in their marriages and families. The success of his mentoring groups led Regi to found Radical Mentoring to equip and engage men and their churches in launching intentional men’s small group mentoring. Through the investments of those churches and mentors, over 11,000 men have been mentored.
Regi was married to Miriam for 50 years. Their two adult children are happily married (with five grandkids between them) and live only a couple of hours away. Regi went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2020.
