For each meeting, we provide a Conversation Guide that outlines and gives you talking points for the whole 3-hour meeting. These Conversation Guides are intended to give mentors a starting point so that they are focused on administration and logistics, but on getting to know and loving their guys. Follow it to the letter if it’s helpful, or use it as a guideline. Whatever works for you works for us. Just make sure you hit all the points of interest and that you allow space for the Holy Spirit to move.
And remember, as the mentor, your main job is to do three things: 1) share your life experience, 2) facilitate discussion, and 3) love your guys.
